This research aims to analyze the impact of the dimensions of globalization (economic, political, technological, and cultural) on national sovereignty through a field study conducted in Iraq. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach and used a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool from a purposive sample of 66 academics, experts, and specialists in the political, economic, and administrative fields. A range of statistical methods were employed to analyze the data, including arithmetic means, standard deviations, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression. The results showed a statistically significant positive correlation between the dimensions of globalization and national sovereignty. Economic and cultural globalization were found to have a significant impact on national sovereignty within the study sample, while political and technological globalization did not show a significant impact. The results also indicated that the dimensions of globalization explain 48.5% of the changes in national sovereignty. The study concluded that the impact of globalization dimensions on national sovereignty varies depending on the nature of each dimension, and that these findings are limited to the study sample and the Iraqi context. This necessitates future studies with larger samples and in different contexts.
