The research aims to model the cartogram maps of wheat Production quantities in Diyala Governorate for the 2023 agricultural season, and its variation between administrative units (districts) by adopting cartogram maps that drew a picture of the production quantities of this crop using modern advanced technologies in the field of automated drawing and organizing maps (Self-SOM) techniques ,which rely on the method of automatic data analysis and processing techniques to reach accurate automated mapping represented by cartogram maps ,which have the ability, speed and power of perception for the reader and user, and as they depend in their representation on the statistical values of the phenomenon under study, whether these data is absolute, relative, or in the form of equations with the area of the region itself in representing the phenomenon studied ,and despite the presence of some distortion in the shape and area, which can be considered secondary, as well as we can do without it, because they depend in their representation on mathematical algorithms that enable the data to be analyzed automatically ,processed ,and represented accurately ,and as the cartogram represents a type of drawings that depict the features of geographical phenomenon ,and here to represent the statistical values of wheat production in Diyala Governorate so that it can the continent can recognize the forms of the geographical phenomenon in an expressive spatial form ,because cartogram maps are maps with a statistical value that do not depict the geographical area, but rather change the size of the units based on a specific feature, Accordingly ,the drawing of maps is not real, but rather the charts differ in their degrees ,which changes the geographical area, therefore, in this research, the charts of wheat production in Diyala Governorate for the year2023will be shown in unique representations of the geographical space.
