Obstacles To Rural Development in Al-Khalis District

Abstract

The research included revealing the most important obstacles that stand in the way of achieving rural development in Al-Khalis district and identifying the most important obstacles to natural development, which are represented by obstacles related to topographic features, climatic extremes, the problem of salinity and desertification. The human obstacles it suffers from are represented by the high rate of population growth, the educational and health situation, social customs and traditions, transportation methods and electricity services, and how to address these obstacles in order to achieve rural development and improve the rural situation.
